Mattresses are the perfect environment for Dust Mites. Dust Mites are tiny creatures that live in your mattress.

Dust Mites feed on bacteria infested flakes of dry skin from you and your pets. Their reproductive rate is very high. Up to 2,500 thousand Dust Mites have been counted in one gram of dust. It is estimated that up to 2 million dust mites live in the average double mattress and in an average pillow, 10% of its weight is made up of dead skin and Dust Mites. Each Dust Mite excretes approximately 20 pellets of excrement a day which contain allergens and proteins.

Dust Mite excrement has been medically proven to trigger a whole host of allergic reactions from Asthma, Eczema and Bronchitis to Itchy Eyes and sneezing.
